You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers.

And if you don't see the answer to your question in the FAQ section, feel free to contact me.
Do I need a yoga mat?

Yes, using a yoga mat is essential for practicing yoga. You're welcome to use your own yoga mat, or, if you don't have one, I'm happy to provide a yoga mat for the duration of the class.

What should I wear to practice yoga?

Wear any clothes that make you feel comfortable and allow you to move without restraint.

What should I bring to a class?

The three most important items to have during a yoga class is a yoga mat, a water bottle and a towel. If you'd like to bring any additional yoga equipment, such as yoga blocks, please let me know ahead of time.

Do you provide any yoga equipment?

Yes, I am able to provide yoga equipment such as a yoga mat, yoga blocks or a yoga strap for the duration of the class. At the end of the class I will be collecting the equipment back for sanitization and storage.

Should I eat before my yoga class?

While it's better to avoid any heavy meals 2 hours prior to practicing yoga, if you're hungry closer to class starting, you can eat some fruit or an energy bar.

I have a medical condition. Should I practice yoga?

Always consult with a medical practitioner to confirm whether yoga is an appropriate practice for your condition.

What if I'm late to my class?

If you're late to your class, we can still have a modified yoga practice during the remainder of the booked time slot, as long as there is still at least 30 minutes left. For example, if you booked a 60-minute class and you're 15 minutes late, we can still have a 45-minute class. Please note, you will be charged the full price of the 60-minute class even if you're late or miss the majority of the class and not able to practice.
If you're late more than 30 minutes, the class will be deemed a missed class and you will be charged a full price for it.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please cancel your booking at least 3 hours before class for a full refund. Late cancellations will not be refunded and the full price of the class will be charged.
If you show up to class with any cold symptoms, the class will be cancelled on the spot and deemed a late cancellation with no refund (see next FAQ for details).

Can I still practice if I have a bit of a cold?

If you have any cold symptoms, like stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, congestion, coughing, sore throat, fever, muscle aches, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, shortness of breath or new loss of taste or smell, please cancel your class. You should give your body a proper rest to recover.
Additionally, colds can be contagious, so in order to minimize the risk of spread and protect our loved ones who are at higher risk, please do not show up to your class if you have any of the above symptoms. If you do show up to class with any cold symptoms, the class will be cancelled on the spot with no refund.

What if the teacher cancels the class?

If I have to cancel your class, I will do my absolute best to give you as much of a heads up as possible. You will not be charged for a class cancelled by me (this does not apply to a class canceled by a teacher due to a student showing up with cold symptoms).
